In addition to our professional services, NeoMet Engineering provides a range of online analysis solutions to the mining industry which are used in improving the efficiency of our clients operations. Our online moisture analysis solutions have been implemented by some of the largest mining companies in Australia.
NeoMet Engineering was established in 2010 to meet the needs of the rapidly expanding Iron Ore sector. With an initial focus on the provision of iron ore technical marketing services, the NeoMet brand grew to represent an efficient, effective and reliable proposition to our clients.
NeoMet provided project Technical Marketing Management for several clients. Key components of these engagements was the execution of technical evalaution programs of the proposed products and establishment of technical sessions with Asian steelmills which ultimately lead to successful signing of Letters of Intent for Iron ore offtake.
NeoMet personnel have been embedded in client teams to provide metallurgical development expertise. This expertise includes evaluation of deposits to determine suitability for processing, development of process flowsheets and potential product specifications.
NeoMet metallurgists have provided technical services to companies such as FerrAus Ltd; Hancock Prospecting Pty Ltd; Flinders Mines Ltd; The Oakajee Port and Rail Project; IMX Resources; Societe Des Mines De Fer De Guinee (SMFG); The Australian Premium Iron JV; Sundance Resources; Iron Ore Holdings; BHP Billiton and BC Iron to assist these companies in the evaluation, development and optimsiation of their respective projects.
Technical due diligence to support investment decisions and peer review of technical developments is a core capability of NeoMet with our people being involved in both domestic and international DD teams throughout our years of operation. Due Diligence assessments range from assessment of an iron ore project in Russia as part of an investment decision, technical audits of a gold project in Georgia (Europe) through to construction and ramp up monitoring of domestic greenfields projects on behalf of shareholders.
With the recent transition of the Western Australian iron ore industry from construction boom to commissioning and normal operations, the focus of NeoMet has also transitioned into process efficiency, optimisation and the supply of online analysis solutions to complement our professional service offering. See our Solutions pages for further information on our analysis solutions for industry.
